Car Parking

On the event weekend we will be using 100 spaces at the MYCC car park and the car park at the train station. The train station car park has 6 foot high security fences and CCTV. Both car parks are open to members of the public and are free to use all year round.

GPX Files

It is advisable to only use the gpx files that are available from Ride with GPS as these have been double checked and updated (05/06/2022). They are the most accurate guide to the CDT routes.

The trail is 100% on public access land that we have a right as riders, runners and walkers to use.

On the event weekend there is the option of pitching your tent at a ‘Caravan and Camping Club’ site. You get a level grass field, water tap, toilets, secure garage to lock your bike in, option of a barbecue on a paving slab and a pub, Coop store and takeaway 10 minutes walk down the lane.  No showers and no wash room.  The campsite is directly on the route, about half way round.

Riding 60 to 90 miles in one day across Pennine moors should not be underestimated.  We therefore offer riders on the CDT event weekend a luggage transfer option.  Drop your camping stuff with labels attached in the Event HQ at Mytholmroyd and we will transport it to the campsite.

The Marsh Farm campsite is open most of the year. The red dot marks its location.
